Ring Size Guide

A ring that doesn’t fit is the fastest way to lose the joy of a new piece. Most returns we see aren’t about quality — they’re about a half-size miss. So before you order, take five minutes to check. It’s worth it.

Two ways to find your size

Pick whichever is easier. If they disagree, trust the string method — it measures your actual finger, not a ring that may already sit loose.

1

Measure your finger with a strip

  • Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of non-stretchy string.
  • Wrap it snug around the finger you’ll wear the ring on — not too tight, not sliding.
  • Mark where the ends meet, then lay it flat against a ruler.
  • That length in millimeters is your finger circumference. Match it to the chart below.

Printable ruler trick: set your printer to 100% (no “fit to page”), and a credit card should measure exactly 85.6 mm wide. If it doesn’t, your print is scaled — re-check the settings.

2

Measure a ring you already own

  • Take a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably.
  • Measure its inner diameter straight across the inside, in millimeters.
  • Find that number in the diameter column of the chart.

US ring size chart

Our rings are sized in US standards. Use circumference first if you measured your finger; use diameter if you measured an existing ring.

International quick reference

Ordering from outside the US? These are close equivalents — but fingers aren’t identical, so re-check with the method above when you can.

A few things that throw people off

  • Measure at the end of the day. Fingers swell slightly in the morning and in heat. An evening measurement is the safer bet.
  • Cold hands read small. If your hands are chilly, warm them up first — a winter reading can come out a full size under.
  • Mind the knuckle. If your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, size to the knuckle so the ring can get on at all.
  • Width matters. A wider band feels tighter than a thin one at the same size. Go up a half size for chunky styles.
Half sizes: we carry full US sizes. If you’re between two, size up — a ring that’s a hair loose still wears; one that won’t pass the knuckle doesn’t.

Ordered the wrong size?

It happens. Unopened rings can be returned within 30 days under our Returns & Refunds policy, and many pieces can be resized by a local jeweler. When in doubt, write to us at [email protected] with your finger circumference and we’ll point you to the right size before you buy.

Still unsure? Our FAQ covers shipping and care, or just email [email protected] — tell us the millimeter reading and we’ll help you pick.
